Meet writer and producer Kelly Collins Lintz and hear the story behind ABLE, a project rooted in this community with a much bigger purpose: to help change the way the world sees people with Down syndrome.
Pastors and church leaders are invited to learn more about the film, the impact it hopes to make, and the many ways local churches and congregations can be part of bringing it to life.
Come enjoy breakfast, hear the vision for ABLE, ask questions, and discover how your church can support a community project designed to celebrate ability, belonging and what is possible.
About ABLE
ABLE is an independent feature film project that aims to change the world’s opinion of Down syndrome. Set to go into production in Auburn and Opelika in 2027, this project has become what can only be described as a massive, creative community collaboration. Over a thousand individuals, more than 100 local businesses and just about every civic organization in Lee County have pulled their resources together to help make this project a reality.
In our final push to the finish line, we invite the local church to say YES to the ABLE invitation. Come learn about 3 simple ways you can help to potentially reduce the termination rate of prenatally diagnosed fetuses with Down syndrome, by making this film a reality.
